About this guide
The Bisse du Ro was carved into the rock in the 15th century and links Lake Tseuzier with Crans-Montana. The path along it crosses vertiginous passages; since 2020 a suspension bridge, 120 m long and 70 m above the void, gives an aerial view of the Ertentse valley.
The official route runs one way from the Tseuzier dam (1,778 m) along the bisse to Crans-Montana (1,498 m). For a shorter walk, start in Crans-Montana and turn back at the bridge, returning the same way.

The path crosses vertiginous passages, and the suspension bridge hangs 70 m above the void.
- Season
Summer and autumn, while the shuttle to the Tseuzier dam runs. 2026: 20 June – 23 August Wednesday to Sunday; 24 August – 1 November Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Getting there
To the start by the summer shuttle Anzère – Ayent – Tseuzier dam (GA and Half-Fare cards not valid). The route ends in Crans-Montana.
