About the route

An easy, family-friendly karst trail across the Dachstein plateau: from the Krippenstein top station past the "Dachstein shark" and the Heilbronner Kreuz to the Gjaid station, where all three sections of the cable car take you back down over the Krippenstein to the valley. The Gjaid Alm is a 15-minute walk from the station. Only while section 3 of the cable car runs. It runs until 1 November 2026; then closed until the next season, 2027 dates not yet published.
