About the route
From the Furi cable car station down a quiet road through larches and stone pines to Zermatt. Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. One way.
Shady and sunny stretches alternate, and the walk suits children from four years old. Farm vehicles may use the road, so keep an ear open. It also works as an evening walk; check the Matterhorn Express timetable first.
